For the convenience of our customers, all El Paso County Clerk and Recorder offices accept major credit cards and debit cards for payment. We also accept cash and personal checks.
A Portal Administration Fee is assessed on credit and debit card transactions, per state statute C.R.S. 29-11.5-103. This fee is non-refundable and is not retained by El Paso County.
There is no Portal Administration Fee assessed on transactions totaling less than $10.00.
Electronic checks in any amount are accepted for a $1.00 Portal Administration Fee.
There is no Portal Administration Fee assessed on cash or traditional check transactions.
A $41.00 returned check fee will be assessed per state statute C.R.S. 24-35-114.
