The El Paso County Clerk & Recorder’s Office oversees ballot access for candidates interested in running for County elected offices, including Assessor, Clerk & Recorder, Commissioner, Coroner, Sheriff, Surveyor and Treasurer.

The El Paso County Clerk & Recorder’s Office does NOT oversee ballot access for federal, state, municipal, special district or school district elections.

July 28, 2023: Last day for a political subdivision to notify the county clerk in writing that it has taken formal action to participate in the 2023 Coordinated Election.
